Perfect Demo turns raw screen recordings into polished demo videos. To do that, we necessarily handle the recordings you upload and a small amount of information about you. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your recordings to advertise to you.

We collect three kinds of information:

• Account information — the details you provide when you create an account, such as your name, email address, and (for paid plans) billing information handled by our payment provider.
• Content you upload — the screen recordings you submit for processing, along with the audio, transcripts, scripts, and finished videos generated from them.
• Usage and device information — basic analytics about how the site and app are used, such as pages visited, approximate location derived from your IP address, browser, and device type.

If you contact us or request a demo through this website, we also receive the name, email address, company, and message you choose to send us.

We use the information above to:

• Process your recordings and produce your demo videos — this is the core function of the product.
• Create and maintain your account, and apply the recording limits attached to your plan.
• Take payment for paid plans and prevent abuse of free ones.
• Respond to your questions, support requests, and demo enquiries.
• Understand how the product is used so we can improve it, and keep it secure and reliable.

Producing a demo means running your recording through an automated pipeline: the footage is analysed, the audio is transcribed, the script is rewritten for clarity, and narration is generated. This processing is automated, and parts of it may be carried out by third-party AI model providers acting on our behalf.

Your recordings are processed to deliver the service to you. We do not publish them, and we do not share them with other customers.

We share information only with service providers who help us run Perfect Demo, and only to the extent they need it to do their job. These fall into a few categories:

• Hosting and infrastructure providers, which store and serve the product.
• AI model providers, which perform parts of the processing described above.
• Analytics providers, which help us understand aggregate product usage.
• Email and payment providers, which deliver our messages and take payment.

We may also disclose information where we are legally required to, or where it is necessary to protect our rights, our users, or the security of the service.

We keep your recordings and generated videos for as long as your account is active, so that you can return to them. You can delete your content, and you can ask us to delete your account and the data associated with it.

Some information may be retained for a limited period after deletion where we need it to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls limiting who on our side can reach your content.

No online service can promise perfect security, and we will not pretend otherwise. If we become aware of a breach affecting your information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, or receive a copy in a portable format.

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and measure aggregate usage of the site. You can block cookies in your browser, though parts of the product may stop working correctly if you do.

Perfect Demo is a tool for people building and selling software, and it is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy as the product changes. When we make a material change, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, tell you directly.
